Alcohol Effect

Alcohol promotes the production of estrogen in the body which aids in fat storage and also decreases lean muscle growth. Alcohol is basically a simple form of sugar that slows down your metabolism and stores fat. This is because the liver is not able to digest any of the food you have eaten when alcohol is present in the body.

It is best to just avoid alcohol if you want to achieve a lean, clean body.

Be mindful of spending time socially with people who encourage binge drinking. However, if you insist on drinking then limit it to the recommended intake of no more then two standards drinks per day and alternate with water.
